Placing an implant like a wood screw essentially wedges the tip of the implant into the bone, placing pressure (resorption) on the bone. By contrast, after the I-Mini®’s Bull Nose Auger™ tip bottoms out, the extra half turn pulls bone up and around the tip, putting tension on the condensed bone, and promoting bone growth around the tip.

Stabilization at the collar of the implant is established with the 2mm machined periolock collar. Combined with the Bull Nose Auger™ tip, Dual Stabilization® is biomechanically formed, resisting lateral occlusal forces placed on the abutment.

The I-Mini® is long-term, self-tapping and gamma radiated with sterile packaging designed for direct implant placement capability. The I-Mini® can be used in thin ridge application, or for those patients that cannot afford a conventional dental implant but still require the performance of a predictable immediate load implant.
