David D. D’Alise, DDS – Chief Clinical Advisor

Dr. David D. D’Alise graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry, Chicago, Illinois in 1965 with graduate work in Dental Education and Hospital Dentistry.   He is the Chairman and Founder of OCO Biomedical, Inc. in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Dr. D’Alise has designed and patented dental attachment systems and the next generation Dual Stabilization® Dental Implant System designed with immediate loading capabilities. OCO Biomedical’s dental implant and attachment systems are distributed and sold in multiple markets throughout the world. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Charter Member and past President of the New Mexico Academy of General Dentistry. He presently holds fellowships in the International Congress of Implantology, the Academy of Implants and Transplants, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is an Honored Fellow in the AAID.

Rick L. Grant, DMD – Instructor

Dr. Rick Grant practices general dentistry focusing on orthodontics and dental implants. He has been placing OCO Biomedical implants for 17+ years.  In his many years practicing dentistry, he has developed a passion for teaching and leading other clinicians into building successful practices. Among Dr.Grant’s achievements are serving as president for Northeastern Nevada Dental Association and gaining diplomacy in the International Dental Implant Association. He has lectured on Dental Implants and Orthodontics both nationally and internationally.

Pierre Tedders, DDS – Instructor

Dr.Tedders graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy 1999 and received additional training at The University of Michigan/VA Hospital while completing his general practice residency.  Over the years, Dr. Tedders has accumulated thousands of hours of dental implant, ridge reconstruction education and participated in numerous dental implant study groups. He continues his advancement in surgical and restorative dental implantology, as a mentor and mentee, with The Excel Surgical and soft tissue engineering training and education. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia Maxi Course, under the direction of Dr. Edward Mills. Dr. Tedders has been personally mentored by some of the leading main podium speakers including Dr. Edward Mills with The Advanced Dental Implant Studies and with Dr. Todd Sawisch and Dr. Avi Schetritt with the South Florida Oral and Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Dental Implant Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. He received his Associate Fellow credentials with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in 2011 and his Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2013. Dr. Tedders has limited his practice to surgical and restorative dental implantology, ridge reconstruction, soft tissue engineering and dento-alveolar surgery in southern and central Michigan.

Grant Pitt, DDS – Instructor

Dr. Pitt currently maintains a private dental practice in Edmond, Oklahoma.  He spent the first 10 years of his professional life as a Pharmacist, achieving his Doctor of Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University-College of Pharmacy.  After years of patient and professional interaction, Dr. Pitt elected to change careers to dentistry.  Dr. Pitt obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry then entered their Periodontal Program.  He did not finish his periodontal training due to health concerns and withdrew to practice general dentistry.  Dr. Pitt’s interest are in comprehensive and restorative dentistry.  He is a member of the ODA, ADA, AGD and is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).  Dr. Pitt has lectured to colleagues, students, and patients on dental implant placement and restoration throughout the  United States.
