How are all of you dealing with placing implants in tight spaces? This patient just came in for recall and I, and most importantly the patient, are really happy with how everything turned out. Thanks to Dr D’Alise’s implant designs, the ISI implants are a great, simple, and efficient way to help patients in these types of situations. This patient was congenitally missing 20 and 29. He didn’t have a lot of mesial – distal space, but he was most deficient in buccal – lingual space. Grafting this area would not have been desirable because the mental foramen and canal was encroaching upon the surgical area.

The 3.0 ISI (or is it SDI?) was a perfect fit and it is robust. Added bonus, no need for an abutment!
