INTRODUCING THE MINIMALLY INVASIVE DUAL FIXATION DENTAL IMPLANT

Today, as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic, much concern has been given to infection and post contamination from nonessential oral surgical procedures. Dental implant placement falls into this category.

OCO Biomedical is offering a solution to avoid prolonged surgical exposure in the oral cavity called Dual Fixation Implant Placement A flapless surgical procedure within CDC guidelines.

                                [Flapless Preperation]

Traditionally, the implant dentist would produce a full-thickness gingival flap to expose the bone-implant site. The implant dentist would then create an osteotomy for the placement of a traditional single fixation titanium implant. After insertion of the implant, the gingival flaps would be repositioned and tightly closed with sutures. This procedure on average could take close to two hours with significant patient post-operative symptoms resulting from this invasive procedure.  The added risk from this open flap approach is the prolonged exposure to oral infection and delayed bone loss.

The OCO Biomedical solution Flapless Minimally Invasive Implant Placement

Our patented Dual Fixation dental implants offer two areas of immediate bone locking from the crest of bone through the auger like an apical lock. No other dental implant can demonstrate these unique features. The OCO Biomedical ISI, TSI, and the ERI dental implants can be generally used in minimally invasive procedures with no surgical flap production and generally no post-operative swelling. With Dual Fixation Implant Placement, the implant dentist can expect these implants to be better stabilized in the jaw immediately with much less surgical time.

Immediate/early loading can also be achieved with more confidence because of the immediate dual fixation of the implant into the bone. With minimally invasive flapless surgery with the OCO Biomedical TSI , ERI, and ISI Implants,  the patient can leave your office with a beautiful transitional restoration, with less risk of viral exposure because the procedure takes considerably less time than with open flap procedures.
